BASIS OF OUR FAITH
Household of Faith ministry was founded on the basis of Galatians 6:10, which states “Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.”
The Word of God
Our faith is grounded in the Bible. We believe it is the authoritative witness to the living God. We receive the books of the Old and New Testaments as the true revelation and record of God’s will on earth. The Bible has been given to lead us to salvation, to be the ultimate rule for Christian faith and conduct, and the supreme authority by which the House of Faith must conduct its ministry.
The Son of God
Our ministry stems from the belief that Jesus, the Christ is the son of God. We desire to love him, to follow him, to obey his commandments, and to testify about the love of God.
We affirm that God is our source of grace. We worship one God in three persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
The Body of Christ
Our mission is to offer hope and restoration to all people through the love of God.
As a ministry, our main thrust is to offer support and opportunities to all people. We recognise our Christian duty of love, hope and encouragement to all. However, we owe it to each other to offer our right hand of fellowship especially to those of the family of faith as specified by Galatians 6:10.
Prayer
We urge all members of the Household of Faith to pray as Christ prayed, that we may be one in the Father and the Son, and so by the Spirit promote personal relationships of love, peace and fellowship within the Body of Christ, His universal church.
